Bernhard Mund

After completing his apprenticeship as a radio and television technician, Bernhard Mund studied communications and microprocessor technology at the Gießen-Friedberg University of Applied Sciences. Since 1985, he has worked for bda connectivity GmbH, including as head of development in the field of communication cables. He is currently responsible for EMC measurement technology and standardization.

In addition to his work for bda connectivity GmbH, Bernhard Mund has been active in national and international standardization for over 35 years, including as chairman of the national committee UK 412.3 Coaxial Cables and as secretary of IEC SC 46A and CENELEC SC 46XA, Coaxial Cables. Further standardization activities include, since 1995, participation in IEC TC 46/WG 5, Shielding of Cables and Components, and in IEC TC 46/WG 9, Assembled Cables.
