Dr. Joachim Lapsien

Head of Product Marketing | CETA Test Systems GmbH

Dr. Joachim Lapsien studied physics at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, specializing in laser and plasma physics, and earned his doctorate there in the field of optical metrology. Since 2003, he has worked at CETA Testsysteme GmbH in Hilden, Germany, in the area of industrial leak and flow testing. Dr. Lapsien is Head of Product Marketing and a frequent speaker on topics related to industrial leak and flow testing, giving presentations (lectures, posters, workshops, online seminars) at national and international conferences (e.g., AMA Conference, World Conference of Non-Destructive Testing, DGZfP Annual Meetings, DGZfP Technical Seminars on Leak Testing and Leak Detection, Connector User Congress, Symposium Connectors, Innosecure, Power of Electronics). He has also published numerous articles in relevant trade journals and books. Furthermore, Dr. Lapsien is an active member of the DGZfP Technical Committee on Leak Testing and the DIN Standards Committee on Leak Testing.
