Dr. Joachim Lapsien

Head of Product Marketing | CETA Test Systems GmbH

Dr. Joachim Lapsien studied physics at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, specializing in laser and plasma physics, where he completed his doctorate in the field of optical measurement technology. Since 2003, he has been working at CETA Testsysteme GmbH, Hilden, in the field of industrial leak and flow testing. He is head of product marketing and was head of sales and marketing and head of the DAkkS accredited calibration laboratory for many years. Dr. Lapsien is a regular speaker on industrial leak and flow testing topics with presentations (lectures, posters, workshops, online seminars) at national and international conferences (e.g. AMA Conference, World Conference of Non-Destructive Testing, DGZfP Annual Conferences, DGZfP Technical Seminars on Leak Testing and Leak Detection, User Congress Connectors, Symposium Connectors, Innosecure, Power of Electronics). He has also published technical articles in relevant specialist journals and books. Dr. Lapsien is actively involved in the DGZfP Leak Testing Technical Committee, the DIN Leak Testing Standards Committee, the European Standards Committee CEN/TC 138/WG 6 “Leak Testing” and the international Standards Committee ISO/TC 135/SC 06 „Leak Testing“.
