Markus Klingenberg, Dipl.-Ing. (FH), is Head of Research and Development for Surface Technology at INOVAN GmbH & Co. KG. After completing training as an electroplater, he studied surface technology and materials science at Aalen University of Applied Sciences. From the start of his career to the present, he has held various positions in the field of electroplating, early on directing his focus to reel-to-reel electroplating technology. Later he expanded his remit to include customer consulting for the coating of new products, wire-bondable surfaces, and participation in the development of new materials for the surface coating of electrical components within research projects and various committees. In total, this amounts to 40 years of experience in electroplating, of which over 25 years have been in research and development in surface technology.
